Finally after a year plus this gets updated or was it 2 years. Anyway, still better than the original app in my opinion in terms of speed and connection. It is just really slow slow slow at updating and keeping updated with the original. A year plus would have been considered abandoned. Do we have to wait another year plus for other updates? I really hope not. I will rate again as time goes by. But currently works beautifully. The rating reflects the abysmal updating times.
After the last update, the app got worse. Every time I send a video straight from my camera it aggressively compresses the video and distorts the audio and video. Sometimes the app will freeze as well when trying to send s picture from my gallery or when switching between apps. It’s fixed with a simple refresh, but it’s just annoying.
Turning off “New Contacts Notification” doesn’t seem to work, still getting a notification with inbox when someone from contacts joins telegram. This is very problematic. Pretty much happy with the Telegram X Pro Apk otherwise.
